SALSA Program Overview

Solar Array Lands Supporting Agribusiness

The SALSA program increases land access for underserved populations by connecting them with existing Colorado solar lands to expand or kickstart an agribusiness. The program leverages existing solar array sites suitable for small livestock production or farming. SALSA addresses land scarcity challenges while supporting rural economic growth, climate resilience, and inclusive community development.
